NOW AND THEN

My son's three prize children certainly clean up nicely but they still act like the monkeys in the first picture (along with their father). I found that early photo on grandson Dillon's facebook and had to borrow it.

  1. A nice looking bunch! I have a hard time getting all of the grandkids together on one photo; someone is always looking off or has their mouth in a funny position.

  2. Beautiful family, Annie!

I love the "wise monkeys" re-enactment!

I MUCH prefer your new photo. Very complimentary!

If I could get Joe's grandkids to SIT STILL for a minute like yours, I might not run off when I know they're coming.

Great pictures of your grandchildren. I know they give you lots of enjoyment. I think grandchildren are grand. Thanks for stopping by my place and your kind comments about my grandchild. I enjoyed your blog and all your pictures.

  10. See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. I am sure they practice what they act out. Handsome kids.

  11. Annie,

I know you are very proud of your son and his children.

The thing I love most about pictures is that the people in them will never be that age again; even 5 minutes later.

I always have the feeling that the picture I am holding in my hand will find it's way to somebody's attic and turn up in 50 or 60 years and nobody will know who the people in the picture are.

Please name and date all of your pictures to help out future generations.

  12. Love both photos! I've been helping my mama move for the last six weeks and have run across many gems - and tons that I have no idea who they are. I can't wait until we can dive into them.

  13. Great pictures - both of them. You have to love photos taken awhile back. They are priceless.

  14. They grow up in the blink of an eye, don't they? At least that's how it seemed with my girls *sigh*

They're easier to handle in the monkey stage ;-)
