FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME

Out of the snow I rise, past the computer I walk, onto the launch pad I climb. It is fitness time again and I MUST make some changes in my lifestyle. Exercise is the key element missing from my daily routine. Today I vow to get busy once again and so I shall be taking a sabbatical from my blog in hopes that I can report at a later date that things are under control. Don't wish me "luck" but please do wish me "willpower".

  14. Geterdone GA. But I do fail to see the reason to quit blogging. This world needs you. In shape. And blogging.

  15. Go girl! Stay motivated. A daily step on the scale once did it for me. Too bad a broken hip ruined it all.

  16. Thank you guys for your supportive comments. I'll print them out to keep in front of me.

I know it seems strange that I have to quit blogging for this but blogging to me is more that writing my own post. It is reading all the posts you each enter and I can't get anything else done when I'm glued to this chair. Hopefully I can work out some kind of routine that will allow me to do everything.

As Arnold says, "Ah'll be baaack!"

  19. When I first retired abnd started blogging it was just for me, and I only spent a few minutes a day doing it, then people started commenting, and I started spending more time on it. I was spending up to 4 hours a day bolgging and reading and commenting, and It got in the way of my life. SO now, I blog when I can, and blogwalk when I have time to, and comment rarely, because I never have time anymore. I spend 6 hours a week in the pool which is 20 miles away, so that takes time. and then with the playhouse, and being on two BOD of non-profits, I rarely have time for ME anymore.

  21. Oh do I need to resemble this. I think that movement of the body enhances movement of the soul. I've been stagnant this winter and I too need to get moving... Once started, it energizes you! Fatigue lifts and the the brain fog with it. Will Power!!! a new Monera!! Like the Little engine that could.... " I think I can...I think I can.... chug.. chug... I know I can... chug chug... I know I can!!!!"

I shall join in the climb and see you at the top!

Blessings to you and yours. Love and Light, Nina P

  24. Will power, I think I remember that word however, not the meaning.. I'm so darn lazy lately I can't stand myself. I keep saying once the weather breaks I'll just walk..

Best of results to you I feel your pain.
