SAY YOU RECEIVED A HANDWRITTEN LETTER

You can click to enlarge and my handwriting is not the best, but this is to help you remember what handwritten letters were like.

  2. After receiving two letters in the mail last week (YES, SNAIL MAIL!) with lots of interesting details and comments, I love this post!

PS - Netflix is awesome! I just started receiving my DVDs last week and now I have two more. Please recommend more movies!

  3. I love getting actual cards in the mail! Although most of them don't have handwriting as nice as yours :)

  4. Hello Annie,

First, I have to tell you how delighted I am to see sweet Owen's picture. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE BOY!

I do hope your knee feels better and you are back riding Blue Thunder ASAP...

  5. I know all about having to keep your leg elevated! It's so frustrating, isn't it? But if you are patient, you will find that it hastens the healing. With you and Ron it's a bit like that old weather thing we used to have, where the man comes out and the woman goes in and vice versa. Do you remember it? So we pray that you will both be able to enjoy restoration so that you can do things together without handicap.

Your handwritten leter reminds me that there are still some people who are waiting for a handwriten letter from me because they have no computers. I must get busy on that SOON!

  6. Thanks for sharing, I occasionally get a hand written letter from someone who every so often sends me money for my favourite entertainer's charity. It is nice to recieve a hand written letter as it makes one feel that person is especially thinking about YOU.
    Have a great week-end.

    Yvonne.

  11. I still send and receive handwritten cards and letters every so often, but it's a rare thing in this day and time.

Hope you get a good diagnosis and treatment for your bum knee. I have severe arthritis in both mine, so I know a little bit of what you're going through.

    Happy Labor Day! :-)

    Hugs,

    Diane

  12. I always think about writing letters but until baby boy got in trouble I didn't do it. I'm back in practice again. It is nice to get something in the mail besides bills. I may try to write some letters to friends and surprise them. Thanks.

  13. I adore your handwritten letter to us. Very nice. Glad to hear your husband is having a little good news.

Christmas is nice to get a personal note in the mail from friends. I am saving my Christmas cards. I think they will be a lost treasure for future generations.

  14. I still love writing longhand! My great grandmother and her sister taught penmanship in Brooklyn for years. We even learned it in elementary school!
