We (the county) have replaced a bridge just north of us. It was to take 45 working days which would be nine weeks. I have had a lot of complaints because the bridge has been closed all summer. 17" of rain the past two months was the culprit. Now it's open and folks have quit calling me. Marilyn and I are even going out to supper tonight. First time in a long while. Damn bridge. I hope Ian's visit was a good one. Hey btw, I just ordered 150 broilers from the local hatchery. Our fall group.
Thanks for your comments guys. For a bunch of construction,the photos are quite lovely. We cannot wait until the bridge is complete and I'll post the new bridge photos when it is done. Being able to cross the bridge on the way to my sister's cuts 7 miles off our travel.
Cliff, our grandson Ian and his buddy won't be here until Tuesday and then they will stay seven days. Ron is planning to work those poor boys to death! As far as the chickens go,I can't discuss broilers!

I am always impressed by our engineers. How they do this stuff is quite amazing.
