Grandson Michael introduces our new watchman. Say "hello" to Vincent, the coyote deterrent (we hope). Michael created this visitor with his own two hands and various scattered commodities. Grand daughter Beth (Michael's cousin) welcomes Vincent to NOL-NOC Estates with a big hug.
Hope Vincent will be successful.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Well hello Vincent. Hope you don't sleep on the job!
ReplyDeleteA comment was left on my post that urine marks your yard and keeps the animals away. My husband is not willing to pee in the yard even after dark but he was willing to pee into an old container. It might not hurt to try it.
ReplyDeleteHit 40, great suggestion! Three of my grandsons are here now and love to pee outside:)
ReplyDeleteIt's very nice to meet Vincent! I hope he helps to keep critters away.
ReplyDeleteWe have raccoons that come into the yar and drive the dog nuts. I just have the boys pee in the corners and it takes care of it. I love Vincent!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
ReplyDeleteIf I was a coyote, I'd be scared.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope Vinny (that's godfather speak for Vincent)lives up to his name. I think I read something about the urine keeping animals away too. With 3 grandsons peeing, the animals will probably run away confused.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love Vincent! With all the scary movies I've been watching lately the first thing I thought of when I saw these pics was..."The Children of the Corn" for some reason. :)
ReplyDeleteNice job, Michael!
I wish you luck. It seems our battles with mother nature are never ending and she usually wins.
ReplyDeleteI hope Vincent works!
ReplyDeleteI'm catching up on your posts! I enjoyed the pictures from your trip! That is cool the M on the mountain like that!
ReplyDeleteI love your chickens and the names you selected! Very creative names for chickens and glad your blogger friends could help!
I always liked David Carradine too.
I hope Vincent does the trick! Looks real to me!
Yo Yo Yo Vincent...nice to know you and hope to see you around :D
ReplyDeleteO.K. Coyotes are very smart so I don't think Vincent or kid pee is going to keep them away from Elenore Hen and her chicks.
ReplyDeleteHere's what you have to do. Get Slim a Roadrunner outfit and send her out to guard the farm with Vincent.
Between Slim ,Vincent and the tunnel painted on your house, short work will be made of the dasterdly Wile E....
This picture makes me smile because I have a REAL LIFE Granny Annie and when she takes pictures she always makes us point at something. Thanks for the sweet memory.
