SUCCESS!

I ask you, is there a parent or grandparent (or Great Auntie) out there that doesn't know what a monumental occasion this is? Let's see if you can caption this:)

  1. Not sure if I can caption this or not but I totally understand the great accomplishment accompanying it.

  2. Yep, it's a deal Bonnie. See the little toes of my grand niece in the lower left? I guess she was gazing proudly at her good work. Meanwhile I guess "The shuttle has landed" is the only caption I can think of. If you come up with a caption, do come back:)

  5. I will rewrite the caption as I made a spelling mistake
Caption" SEE, TOLD YOU I COULD DO IT"

    Sorry about the mistake.

    Yvonne.

  6. PG, don't you just love the toes! I didn't see them at first and just wanted to tickle them. Yes this was a big deal.

Yvonne, I love your caption and am surprised you didn't rhyme it so I'll do it for you: "There was really nothing to it. See, told you I could do it!" Is that acceptable? LOL

  7. Great caption idea Granny Annie. I think it's funny you came up with that before you read my blog. I still don't have a great caption idea. The only thing I can think of is "Get a load of this"???!!!

  12. All I can remember is last month when my grandson emerged from the bathroom to exclaim..."Mommy that was the biggest poopie, ever!" that is a real conversation starter.

  13. Please don't tell me there is something in that small toilet. I am hallucinating, right?

  15. Ah,yes, Annie. I remember it well! The first time my husband and I did the "Poopy" dance around the potty chair.

There was great excitement as the poopy hit the potty with clapping and cheering and promises of candy.

It was, indeed, a special day and we went through this ceremony with three more kids.

The day the potty chair finally made the trash can was a grand day all the way around...

  16. Indeed Tabor, "The biggest poopie ever" is a conversation starter.

RK, indeed you have now seen it all. LOL

    Okay Moon, "plop" is right.

Nancy, I could have easily guessed you and your spouse had done the poopie dance. It is an age old tradition. (Not to be saying you are age old.) LOL

  18. Mountain Mama, you are so right, this was quite an accomplishment. I just had to post it and I thank my niece for telling me it was okay to use her photo. This might go down in blog history for world's strangest post. LOL

  19. Your niece will be so proud when she grows up and reads your blog! ha ha

My oldest son and his wife can totally relate to this post....they are "in the process" of potty training Owen....and, I know that they sing and dance in celebration of the few successes that they have had!

    Thanks for the laugh....
    xoxo
