Happy New Year

ALL DAY NOW ALL DAY AND NIGHT

We are very pleased with the satellite Internet that was installed yesterday. My life was sitting in front of the computer all day trying to open some blogs that were too big and/or trying to comment and not being able to open the comment section. I knew higher speed would allow me to complete my computer fun faster and get on to my house cleaning, cooking and other tasks of the day. WRONG!

With the new found ability to open all the pages and comment plus open videos and lots and lots of pictures, I cannot leave because it is an entire new world. I was awake very late last night and opening files just to prove to myself that I could.

Now my blog friends, beware. I'm out to catch up and comment and you're probably going to want to block me from your sites. If you don't see me in a couple of days, please let me know because I might have lost you in all this fancy shuffling.

  8. Now why would I block you from commenting? Are you going to start ranting? Attaching hi-res naked pictures? Asking me to send you money to pay for your new connection? I don't think so.

  9. You guys are so fun! Thanks for sharing my excitement. Gary, you know exactly how I feel, don't you. We've really been in the dark ages for a long time. And guess what, I have a wireless connection for my laptop through the satellite connection!! Now, I think Tabor mentioned that you all want to send money to help me pay for this.....did I understand that right?

  10. It makes all the difference in the world!! I remember when I had dial up and it was so slow sometimes. After I got high speed I sure would hate to have to go back. Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!!

  12. Annie,

I am supposed to have high speed internet, but there are times I'd never know it. Things do open for me, but speedy it's not. My computer is less than a year old, so am not sure why I'm not sailing across cyberspace. I just need time to call Bell and find out.

Congratulations on the marriage of your godson. I wish him and Christine many years of happiness.

Saw the post about the snow. We don't have any here in southern Ontario at present. Today was beautiful with temperatures just at the freezing mark. It beats the minus 18 that we had a couple of nights ago and it's to be above freezing tomorrow. Spring is definitely on the way. Enjoy!

    Blessings,
    Mary

  18. Wild Blue?
I find satellite fast enough. I'm glad you're up to speed.
If I had known you were using dial up I would have cut my website in half.
    Is Beth your grandaughter?
She won't have trouble getting a date to the prom. A real cutie.

  19. Nothing like having good speed going. If pages don't open quickly the anticipation of reading a blog gets chipped away. I'm sure the speed will put a zing into things now on.

  25. LOL! I know exactly how you feel. When I went from dial up to high speed I thought my rear end would take on the shape of my computer chair! Maybe it has. LOL

I'm so glad for you. There is so much to explore. I do Google searches and Google image searches every day not to mention all the other places I visit.
    Have fun!

  26. Oh please don't lose me.

Congratulations on going high speed. I was there once, but something happened along the way to my DSL. It takes long enough to load a page that I have time for breakfast. Videos load in jerks of a minute loading and a minute showing. The longer I am on the computer the slower it gets. I wish I had a guru to find the problem.

  27. I'm so glad to hear you've got high speed internet.
It will drive you CRAZY if you ever have to use dial up again.
