THE CHICKS BEGIN THEIR THIRD WEEK

Our grand niece, Cloelle, visits her birthday chicks. We brought them home on Cloelle's first birthday, 4-2-08. Today the chicks begin their third week in our home. Look how big and bright they are getting. Look how big, bright and beautiful Cloelle has become!

  3. Cloelle outshines the chicks by a long shot.
They are darling little critters, but she is an absolute JOY! What a precious little girl.

  6. hi g. annie-thanks for checking out my blog-i love yours! that previous joke is great!!!! baby chicks are the best-i'm sad we will have none this year. we have 10 hens-i don't have room for any others.

i miss rooster "insulator"-but he' at a good place and i did promise hubby!! so i had to go thru with my end of the deal. i'm amazed that i was able to find homes for all 3 roosters!!!!

if you'd like to read my chicken chronicles i can email some old ones to you and send you the new ones as i write them. i just need your email address.

  7. I go walking every day for lunch at work. The ducks on the trail (I walk by a canal) just had babies.

Now, they swim alone, but they're still tiny, not much bigger than your chicks. I don't know why the mother lets them swim alone so young, but I'm tempted to call Child Protective Services on her. She's a bad duck mother.

  8. Your grand niece reminds me of a tiny Sandra Bullock.
