WHAT ARE THE CHANCES?
As of today, I now have only nine days to lose three months of weight. My cardiologist appointment is the 25th. He was extremely disappointed in my weight gain at my last visit. It was my goal to use these 90 days to get back on track and show my desire to be healthy by this visit. Yesterday was my ten day count down, but as you have read, the burger and pie might have thrown me off schedule. I'm off to my exercise bike. Wish me luck. I only need to lose 24 pounds. I wonder if Jenny Craig ever moves in with clients in this kind of pinch?

ReplyDeleteyou can go the weight loss route, yes. nine days and 20+ pounds is a tall order, but not impossible.
ReplyDeleteOR you can sneak into doc's office and rig the scale.
OR you can slip his nurse a 20 spot and have her write your desired weight on your chart.

Grannie Annie - Tall order but it can be done. If you go the Atkins route you might get close. Actually excerising is a great idea but it will just build muscle mass and muscle weighs more than fat.....Good luck and don't you dare tell your doctor about that hamburger, fries and lemon meringe pie....

I've added daily exercise to my calorie-cutting lifestyle. It consists of a nightly walk/jog with my son. My son is a torturer who takes pleasure in my misery. He helps me keep up the pace by yelling out commands at me as I struggle for breath. He should be horsewhipped.
Why are the yummiest foods the most fattening???
It's simply not fair!!!!!!

My dear, encouraging blog friends, I have five days left and I have already lost One (1) (Uno) pound. Four days of blood sweat and tears and I think I have done what Lucy warned me about, muscle mass. But, one pound is one pound and hopefull by Monday it will be 23 more pounds. LOL Ah heck, my cardiologist will get over it.
