WHAT'S A TATTLETALE TO DO?

All my life I have been able to run to mother and tell on my siblings. Now that mother is gone, I am left exposed. I hope they didn’t keep a record of my tattling. It was really all a big misunderstanding .. I was only joking...I really didn't want to get you guys in trouble.....honest :-)

  2. Yes J.D. you are so right. To understand about cooties and Indian givers, you must be a youngest sibling or you have younger siblings.

  7. Hmmmm...I don't recall ever being much of a tattletale. Sad thing is, I don't think I would've ever told my Mom much of anything personal anyway. It just wasn't done in our family.

Tattletales in my family got ganged up on. So it was in our best interest not to tattletale, but instead frame them for something that they'd get caught in the act doing.

  11. as a single mom, i was the daddy and mommy LAW. i didn't want to be in the middle of the sibling feuds. so my girls knew that if they tattled, they both got in trouble. that taught them to figure out their problems together!

  12. HMM -- Yes, my blog is a good format for tattletelling (as Kenju called it). Misskris, it is sad that you didn't have a good mom to tell things to. Mr. Z, I am not at all surprised that you got even. Lucy, does that mean I have to grow up? Moon, I think I like the idea of beating each other up. icansee, I was a single mom too and was as bad as my children for cutting up. My dad always said our household needed some adult supervision
