I have looked at various network headlines this morning and have yet to see what I thought I should see after hearing the President's speech last night. This was what I expected: (well, not really)
BUSH EMBRACES THE WORLD, ACCEPTS THE RESPONSIBILITY THAT COMES WITH BEING PRESIDENT, ACCEPTS WHATEVER BLAME IS HEAPED UPON HIM, COMFORTS THOSE WHO HAVE SUFFERED LOSS, COMMITS HIMSELF TO MY SAFETY AND VOWS TO HONOR THE PATH TO FREEDOM AND PEACE.
I am such a little girl to actually believe this Christmas Season could be filled with goodwill.
